The People-ing Behind 'Call HR'
March 2026: Practical Tools to Strengthen Communication, Emotional Agility, and Human Connection
Available Spots
Course Description
Credits: The People-ing Behind "Call HR" is approved by SHRM for 36.5 PDC's and HRCI for 32.5 credit hours. Type: One week/five consecutive eight-hour days Following the rules, setting policy, and becoming a strategic partner—these are the What’s of what you do. This course is about the How—how you connect, communicate, and lead when tension is high, words fail, and you’re expected to stay composed no matter what. In HR, every day is a negotiation between empathy and accountability. You navigate tension, mediate conflict, coach struggling leaders, and hold space for emotion—all while remaining professional and composed. You are the human face of organizational integrity, yet you often operate behind the phrase, “Call HR.” This five-day immersive workshop was built for you—the people who hold everyone else together—and help you convey the message that HR isn’t a department. It’s DeVon, Maria, Dana, Priya, and you—the humans behind “Call HR.” When communication breaks down, performance declines, or emotion overtakes logic, the issue isn’t the policy—it’s the people behind it. This course equips HR and other people leaders with over 30 practical, proven tools to defuse tension, guide difficult conversations, and reestablish human connection when stress runs high. Your cohort will be using an integrated cohort model. HR, project managers, and coaches frequently work with—and rely on—each other in real organizational settings. For this reason, attendees from all three certification bodies participate together. This structure provides richer dialogue, exposes you to multiple approaches to problem-solving, and builds communication skills that transfer directly into cross-functional work.
