Course Description

Credits: Emotional Agency: Holding Boundaries Without Guilt is approved by PMI for 6 PDUs, ICF for 6 CCEs, SHRM for 6 PDCs, and HRCI for 6 credit hours. Type: One eight-hour day Emotional Agency: Holding Boundaries Without Guilt is a full-day, hands-on workshop for professionals who over-function, people-please, absorb others’ emotions, or struggle to say “no” without guilt. You’ll start by identifying your emotional patterns through a facilitated Emotional Management Inventory. From there, you’ll learn a set of practical, repeatable tools—Behavior Follows Thought, Inner Voice, JJJ, and the visual Wheel of Emotions—to help you regulate reactions, stop doing others’ work, and communicate clearer boundaries with confidence. This class is experiential, not theoretical. You’ll practice in real time, learn how to read emotional cues more accurately, and leave with a toolbelt you can use immediately to stay grounded, reduce worry, and lead conversations without getting pulled into stress or drama. Your cohort will be using an integrated cohort model. HR, project managers, and coaches frequently work with—and rely on—each other in real organizational settings. For this reason, attendees from all three certification bodies participate together. This structure provides richer dialogue, exposes you to multiple approaches to problem-solving, and builds communication skills that transfer directly into cross-functional work.
